I came to filmmaking through a darkroom. Black and white film, a private school campus, and the freedom to roam it alone, shooting whatever caught the light. That was where it started — a quiet obsession with what light does to a room, the way it falls through a window, the way it can make something feel luminous and set apart. The way it tells the truth about a moment without saying a word.

What followed were years of documentary work, commercial film, and fine art photography across 23 countries.
I have always been drawn to images that mean something. That’s what eventually brought me to wedding filmmaking, and to Christian weddings specifically. There is nothing else quite like it. The beauty of the day and the weight of what is actually happening at the altar, existing together in the same room.
I created The Daily Edit because I believe the best photos aren’t overly posed or filtered—they’re the ones that feel like a lived-in moment.
